Multicultural Mass

The 108th World Day of Migrants and Refugees will be celebrated in our parish next weekend, 08/09 October at all Mass times. This year’s theme is ‘Building the Future with Migrants and Refugees’ . We invite members of our parish, either as individuals or as part of an ethnic group, to express their faith and culture through the Mass. You can get involved by wearing your traditional costumes, reading one of the Prayers of the Faithful in your own language, and displaying anything about your country – flag, map, history. As we have done in the past, pre-covid, we will continue the tradition of our social gathering which will take place after the 11am Mass. Please, you are encouraged to bring a plate of your traditional food to share with everyone. We welcome both those with a strong cultural background and those without to join in this celebration and experience the richness of our diverse Parish.
