What does worship mean to Catholics?
Worship is the free and intimate communication between God and His people This can happen in three different contexts:
1. Communal
During the celebration of the Mass by singing, responding and even by using your body; during Adoration, Love Feasts and other moments of prayer gatherings.
2. Family
When we gather to share a meal as a family or at the beginning or end of the day.
3. Personal
Every time we spend moments reading the Bible, meditating the rosary or other devotional prayers, sitting in front of the Blessed Sacrament and listening to Christian music. Also, giving of our treasure, time and talents allows us to worship God by putting him first.
Through authentic worship we make choices in our life which reflect that God matters.
