Sacraments & Rites
While Baptism is the gateway into the Catholic faith, the Sacrament of Confirmation affirms your commitment to your faith and renews your baptismal promises before your First Holy Communion. Children in Grade 3 are eligible for the Sacrament of Confirmation. Once enrolled into the Sacramental Program, children are enrolled for all 3 sacraments. Please note we will open the enrolment on the Information Night on Monday, 2 March 2026.
Children have a sponsor for the Sacrament of Confirmation. Your sponsor is someone who you choose – a Catholic who guides you into the faith and readies you to receive the Gifts of the Holy Spirit. Your sponsor is often your Godparent from your Baptism.
